Financial Department and Insurance Payments

Our financial department will verify your insurance benefits and schedule a review with you to discuss your summary plan description documents from your insurance policy. This meeting clarifies the procedures your policy will and will not cover.  Your out-of-pocket financial responsibility will be calculated at this time.  After you receive healthcare services from our providers,  we will bill your insurance with the expectation that we will receive fair and timely payment from them according to your policy contract language.

Healthcare laws require insurance companies to pay claims promptly. If insurance does not pay promptly, you must pay the balance in full. In some circumstances, a 90-day payment plan is allowed.

If your insurance fails to pay claims as required by law, we will assist you in filing complaints with the Department of Labor and your state's insurance commissioner.
